I added this for the record, - Note: Here Shamcher refers to both Vilayat and Noor, whose wartime efforts were openly known. He doesn’t mention the lesser-known wartime work of Hidayat, who also served in the war, behind the lines partisan in the South of France, hiding in the hills and causing major damage.
Thanks again. As our political situation heats up here in the US I am urged internally to engage. I am not leading agents to safety on skis but doing what I can by supporting candidates, and distributing honest information within our local nest of would-be nazis. Your post stirs me onward. I site Noor in my latest book for serving as inspiration for my work as well. Even Bob Dylan says, "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."
