EXCELLENT issue Carol. Really enjoyed all three sections.

On Succession and even the idea of initiating Murshids: the story in Hidayat's book, Once Upon A Time: Page 44. - Four Candidate Murshids: I found it incrediably painful reading this which only touched on the possibility of succession. As you know, Murshid had initiated 4 Murshidas, no Murshids: Murshida Fazal Mai, Murshida Goodenough, Murshida Greene and Murshida Rabia Martin. It is perhaps up to the reader to interpret for themselves this poignant writing.

Have you read the paper Succession, Murshida Rabia Martin and the Passing of Hazrat Inayat Khan by Karl Moeller, 2015?

Also enjoyed Visions of Caravans in the Desert.........the thoughtful rider always moving ahead

no matter the hardships.....if hardships arrive, dealing on them but not dwelling on them. Knowing the caravan "has yet a long way to travel." The Playwright would not want to delay the onward march of the Caravan of Love.
